The Eternal Friendships Dynasty interview..
1) What is the origin of your guild/guild's name?
The origin of the guild and guild name Eternal Friendships Dynasty is easy.
It was when I left Kings of Oblivion, i wanted to make something with Redslayer, that symbolised us, the two of us as friends.
The fact that we are kings, Kings of what we do made us go for Dynasty Kingdom).) Eternal Friendships, means exactly that. Eternal friends and true brothers.
2) How long has the guild been in existence?
The guild is now nearly 2 weeks old.. *laughs* But then again, it comes from the time we were together in the last guild. And it will be growing extremely quickly. We just had the active members of Dragons of Shadow come join us, Pelian was granted leader with me and Redslayer. Then Vhaldir merged his guild into EFD also:)
3) Are you a roleplay guild? Friendly to roleplaying?
Do we roleplay? Depends, we can. I dont a whole lot, very rarely. Are we friendly to it? Definately. But we speak out of character in guildchat, and real problems and issues and stories and funs and laughters are told:)
4) So let's say I'm a noob fresh of the island...why do I want to join your guild?
We base ourself on QUALITY over quantity. We have members who are mercenaries, including myself. The mercenary aspect is a interesting and a much needed part of Atys (in my humble opinion). We will keep you with gear, what you need. And give you a guild that cares for you as a person, and is interested in your best and that ONLY.
5) Tell me one of the funnest moments you had with your guild. Or if you'd rather, the saddest!
The best moment with my guild? Bosshunting. We ran through ALL of Atys, Desert, Jungle, PR etc. killing every named and boss we found. That was absolutely kicka**...:)
6) So where do you guys/gals plan on going in the future?
"A hero comes, he gains renown"
"Already destined for a crown"
That is what we are, We are Kings, and make no mistake, time will show that it is the truth.
7) Any recommendations for guilds that are starting anew? Any thing to
avoid or to do right?
Never make the mistake of putting the public view of your guild on top. Always focus on the safety and loyalty of your members TOWARDS THE GUILD and its members. It is what TRULY matters. If they feel safe, if your guild is their sanctuary, then they are loyal forever.
8) How important are you in Ryzom? Are you very casual or do you take
part in Ryzom in a big way?
I think I can safely say that EFD will be proving to be a very very known and important part of Ryzom. But this depends on my members as well as us leaders :)
9) Lastly, what is the importance of a guild? Do they have a place in
the game or can someone do fine without one?
A person can do absolutely fine without one.
A guild though is the army, its the kingdom, and its the heart and soul of the heroes. Alexander the Great was nothing without his army, his friends and his followers. He would die for them, as I would die for mine. And they would die for him, as mine will die for me. Its a balance, this balance gives you peace. And in my opinion, it is alot easier to find this balance if you find a good guild:)
