Transport

Players in Ryzom can only carry a limited volume of items in their inventories. This volume is ample for carrying their equipment in the normal way but is restrictive for a proficient forager. Fortunately the game provides a solution in the form of pack animals that the player can buy and learn to lead. The pack animals can carry large quantities and travel fast. Furthermore, players can learn to ride these animals, the mounted versions having a very limited capacity to carry goods at the same time. Mounted players cannot participate in combat but can travel quickly and avoid generally steer clear of danger.
